Re: Polymorph Races Allowed

I do personally enjoy the process of experimentation to discover the forms that can and cannot be taken. But beyond the personal satisfaction, I think that gives polymorph a unique track to mastery: unlike other spells or skills, where mastery involves repetitive grinding, polymorph mastery involves...

Re: [spell] Magic Weapon

How would this compare to the duration of, e.g., weapon of energy? Would it be easier to share the boons with party members?

Especially at middle levels where this would be more relevant.

Re: Player Status

I am going to be a little scarce for the next month or so, dealing with some RL stressors. I'll check in for for mail/faithees, but might not be around quite as much otherwise.

Griffonhome chariots

At Griffonhome, on the eastern platform: The sign reads: 'The griffons are scheduled to depart at 0, 6, 12, and 18 o'clock. Make sure to board at an hour early so as not to miss chariot. The Eastern Roost flies to Westgate, Voonlar, Tantras, and Tyraturos.'. I stood around waiting from 10am to 12pm ...

Deinonychus

Can summon deinonychus, but can't polymorph into one. I suggest adding it to the viable polymorph forms for pack shenanigans. That is all, thanks!

Re: Grand Fury

Thanks to those who showed up! If you've been thinking a Talassan sounds like fun, next month's event will be geared towards younger characters, so now's a great time to spin one up.

#PROGRAMS section

I don't see any builder lessons on the #PROGRAMS section specifically, though it's referenced in the area template. What are the expected arguments for the #PROGRAM entry? I had guessed it was just a name, but the area template has more options. Can each #PROGRAM entry have multiple triggers attache...

I agree with Areia, and if you host it somewhere other than Waterdeep Gottschalk might show up. =)

Re: Dismissable Familiars

In 3.5, having a familiar gives the master a bonus to a skill, hit points, or reflex saves, as well as the Alertness feat, when the two are in proximity; in exchange, the wizard suffers an experience penalty if the famliiar should die. The familiar also gains some abilities to improve roleplay with ...

Dismissable Familiars

A while back I started a thread suggesting that wizard familiars might see more play if they could be dismissed and resummoned at will. Part of the difficulty with maintaining pets is that you can't really travel between cities with them for fear that a passing bandit will sever their limbs or kill ...

Re: Nuggets into Rings

Unsure if it's significant that the last nugget was small instead of tiny?

When nothing happened, I tried leaving and re-entering the room to see if that would proc anything. If there was a delay on the program, maybe it just happened to coincide with that movement?

Nuggets into Rings

You give a tiny uncleaned nugget of gold to Sugrin. Sugrin says to you 'I need 10 tiny nuggets to make a golden ring, though' Sugrin says to you 'a small nugget can be used for 3 tiny nuggets.' Sugrin says to you 'You gave me the equivalent of 6 tiny nuggets.' give nug sug You give a tiny uncleaned...

Ignos Milipi strokes his bear and waves to you.
As there is no sign of a bear in Nashkel, I'm assuming this ought to be "beard".

Hellia Starnar in Highmoon's short description is just "G" (and it plays havoc with VT100).
