Diety all skills

I think that dieties should be able to do any skill to everyone in the room. This would be particularly useful with Bash and Stun. The names of any other skills escape me right now. This with their ability to do room echos would be a powerful RP tool. Imagine if Mystra could appear in a room full of...

When you are sneaking and hiding you are not crawling. I snuck for a living for a couple years, and you make alot of noise crawling. It is best to hunch over and squat. Speed crawl is a speed like m/s in this situation. It would make no sense for you to crawl thus you have to assume that you are jus...

She was the dowager. That means she was just holding power until a male heir stepped up. And she more than over stepped her rights as a dowager and eventually allowed China the wonders of the Opium War. If we are going to quote historical examples, let us look up these examples on http://www.history...

I think that the openness of following is really up to the person following and the guidance of their high priest-type. Cyric also holds the portfolio of intrigue. What really on the who list is even that useful of knowledge? Famous people are only famous to people that know them. If you don't know ...

Okay 3rd time is the charm. You are now going to get the short short version, as repetition is the mother of brevity. Dalvyn 2rd Waveservant, priest that works well underwater. 3rd edition one word tenticles. 2nd or 3rd In the 5 to 80 years since this MUD has fired (depends on who you talk to) we ha...

First off Dalvyn, Talos, your back and forth tit for tating only makes me think you would have successful careers in the army as Staff Officers. Secondly (You want realism) I knew a guy that spoke 8 languages proficiently. He picked up Itailian in 8 months. He was a language genius and I don't know ...

I do not know if Dalvyn knows this, but both of his suggustions about a) limiting the number of GM skills and b) making people RP for higher levels were both brought up during ( I guess ) phase 1 of FK MUD in early 2000. I think that the MUD has progressed to the point where such systems can be impl...

Yes, this sounds like a different MUD concept to me. Not that I don't like the idea or have not wished and thought for the exact same thing it still would draw the focus away from the individual adventurer and small group adventurer to the point where it would split the participation of the MUD and ...

Okay, there is no need for a RL reason that Trollish vigor works. It is magic, not bio-chem. I would that the orginal point for this spell was to give you some aspects of a troll. It is a MUD hybrid of the D&D spell Trollish (something) that was a 6th level wizard spell that gave the wizard +3 r...

The unpost

Was there a system crash or did the post on temple training dissappear? I logged on and it said there were no new posts in the last 24 hours or so and it is gone, that makes me think that something bad happened with the system or the post got deleted and my cookies are messed up.

In the first picture set the tall one is a elf/demon fey'ir (sp) and the short one is an orc/demon ankkorka (or something). They don't have any FR specific pictures of tieflings, but those are both exampels of FR specific tieflings creatured during Hellgategate (as it was know at the time)

According to the Manuel is specifically sites Waterdeep as a place to find such creatures regularly. I think they are playing off the whole Waterdeep city of Wonders type of thing where it has Waterdeep being like a fantastic cosmopolitan city where anything can happen type.

According to the monster manuel of FR, there is no getting around the fact a Genasi is a Genasi. Genasi have a unmistakable appeareance and a unavoidable arrogant nature that makes them dislike by almost all humanoids. Same with theifling. And if you want to look like a human, play a human.

I was reading in the FR monster manual. It had a listing of Gensai. It actually says that Waterdeep is about the only city that will understand them and not kick them out. But I agree with Mystra. The way that folks have been playing their exotic races is not any different than their other ones. Eve...

Elwin,

Give a man a source book, he makes an area, teach a man to find his own source books, he makes.... um.... well, just one area until I can get FKbuilder to work.

Thank you,

Jonathan

ASCII art

Am I going to be required to make ASCII art for my areas? Because I can only really make dirty pictures. Unless I can use dirty pictures for my areas, I will need someone to please help me make ASCII art for my areas.
