Once upon a time there was another FK forum...
..where we posted crappy MS Paint (RIP) comics about the game! Then the forum died and I evacuated all my content. Now I've finally rediscovered them and have uploaded again for your enjoyment (P.S. a lot of the in-jokes are no longer relevant, which I think makes them funnier). http://imgur.com/a/a...

Old log I found, in honor of Estrild (circa 2011)
The Market Square N-Traders Way E-The Market S-The Market W-The Market Bustling with activity, the market square teems with both stall holders and shoppers. All manner of goods can be bought here, from fruits to fabrics. The scent of herbs and spices fills the air, which is punctuated from time to ...

Myth Drannor - personally I'm okay with skipping the dungeon and going straight to settlement, so we finally have an actually Elven starting home for moon/sun elves.

Re: Raising the cost of components for creating undead
Isn't the IC consequence a better solution? We could make these reanimated creatures kill-on-sight for Kelemvorites and certain other faiths, without the normal hoops you have to go through for PK and pet-killing. You can even band together to explicitly hunt down the undead illithids you hate so mu...

Re: Bringing FK Ranger Class up to date with 3.5 SRD Rules
Eh, invincible probably wasn't the best term. Overpowered is what I was looking for. By itself, the changes would be reasonable, but when you start adding in druid magic, items, and etc... they quickly become ridiculous. I would hate to see drizzits start popping up everywhere I don't disagree that...

Re: [SPELL(S)] Visible Affects
What timestop needs is a way for the caster to know it's ended without having to spam look on the affected targets.
Something like:
>You have casted Timestop.
(2 rounds later)
>The world catches up to you.

Re: A question about faith-based rp
I'm sorry, I was mistaken. Hopefuls are utterly incapable of using the faith list. I misread how Esselwyr was able to have information of another being a hopeful in the first place - it was in their title on the who list. Still, if these things - faith lists and titles both - represent ooc knowledge...

Re: A question about faith-based rp
Hopefuls are given the ability to see other hopefuls of the faith for a reason, I must presume (they are not, AFAIK, able to see any other positions except FM)

Re: More aliases
Well, the current alias list is capped at 40. Others have reported a shortage of aliases in general, but for my case in particular, my wizard currently has 53 distinct spells memorized, so I could not have a shortcut for every spell even in lieu of aliasing for other commands. I think increasing thi...

Re: Making "Time stop" more game friendly
Yes this would fix that. But I am saying it would make timestop even worse by limiting what you can do. I would like to see what kind of scripting your client offers. But even if timestop is only used to cast spells, you'd need abbreviations for every spell you could conceivably cast after the times...

Re: Making "Time stop" more game friendly
I don't see this working out in practice. You'd have to be an amazingly fast and accurate typer or set up aliases for all the conceivable scenarios you'd want to use this spell, which limits its effectiveness. Not to mention it'd certainly be nontrivial to implement. Timestop is gimped enough as it ...

More aliases
On my wizard I am running out of aliases even for the spells I cast somewhat frequently, having to constantly swap between them. This doesn't seem like the type of issue that should be confining for the player, so I'd like to see it expanded (at least doubled, preferably more). Not sure if this is a...
