This program states that it will 'cast' the spell, but without echoes. Does that mean it also will trigger an AoO? Or is cast sort of a misnomer?

Re: ACT_NOASSIST

Awesome. And if I want it to attack if either 123 or 234 are in the combat, would I use an else command? So, mob type 1 is non-aggressive. Mob type 2 is aggressive (Like in howling peaks, with the wolves and sentries). If mob type 2 attacks, and mob type 1 is there, it would join mob 2, but also if ...

[Command] List small/medium/large

It would be nice if when using the list command, you could specify small, medium, or large items to be listed. Especially since sometimes examining items in a shop can be tricky. It would also cut down some of the 'clutter' in more popular shops, like Lucian and Saern.

Thanks!

Okay, since this flag mentions 'does not assist other mobiles', does that mean that if the mobile does -not- have the flag, that it will assist others? Or does that require an mprog? Basically, I want my mobiles of a certain type, which are non-aggressive, to have a 'swarm' mentality. That is to say...

Re: Advertise or Die 3.0

So, I noticed us on http://www.rpggateway.com/

If people can head over and toss some votes up here, maybe we can diversify our resources for incoming players. Mudconnect is a staple, but isn't the only by any means.

And speaking of mudconnect, don't forget to vote!

Re: RMI Policy Change

Thanks for your contribution Gwain. Valid points. I would also like to add, that I don't think I would do a LOT of swapping between alts. There are some items, however, that are a little more rare than others, that it would be nice to have be able to transfer. Signature weapons, for example, or spec...

RMI Policy Change

For those of you out there with alts... ever gotten that -perfect- item for your character from an RMI, only... it's not the character you're on? Chances are, if you've got alts, this has happened to you at some point. Even worse, if you've got several alts, it's sometimes difficult to keep track of...

Halflings and Daggers

When I made a halfling wizard, with 8 str, I received a size medium dagger (instead of small?). In addition, my Hit Bonus was -2 (even with combat -ranged set). -1 would be justified with having 8 str, however, size small creatures are supposed to receive a +1 size bonus to hit (tiny creatures recei...

Re: Ordering of Spell Affects

A stunned creature drops everything held, can't take actions, takes a -2 penalty to AC, and loses his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any). That uh... actually looks to be pretty much 'at opponents mercy' to me. Just because it's not explicitly on the list, doesn't mean it doesn't qualify as 'completely ...

Items from Waterdeep Newbie area

So, upon completing the Waterdeep new character bit, as a wizard, I received the 'kit' from the guy at the end. While I was logged in, everything was cloth. When I logged out, and back in again, the boots and sash were leather, instead of cloth, and started causing spell failure.

Re: Ordering of Spell Affects

The difference Selveem, is that one was reported as a possible code bug, and was told by an admin that it's not. The other was not reported as a code bug, and was used anyway! Nice try though.

Bard Spells

So, I'm just noticing some oddness with bard spells. It seems that my bard has Hold Person as a level 2 spell, and Hold Monster as a level 4 spell (or that's what it should be in SRD). The help files for the respective spells show Hold Person as Level 4 bard spell, and Hold Monster doesn't mention b...

Re: Combat changes

Here, this might help. =) http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/actionsInCombat.htm#standardCastaSpell Most spells have a casting time of 1 standard action. A spell cast in this manner immediately takes effect. I don't remember where I got this. It might have been a DnD fiction, but it's always sort of h...

Re: Combat changes

Seems that casters aren't beginning their chanting at the right time. It seems that they begin chanting at the beginning of "they're" round, then cast. Rather than chanting at the beginning of "the" round. The difference is that they aren't recieving damage to make concentration checks against befo...
