Re: The trial of Cabadath.

[Part 2 of the trial's log, BIG] A blind, wretched-looking male human blinks again, finally raising his voice. 'My abject apologies. Please clarify for me. Did the accuser attack the undead creatures first or the defendant?'. Cabadath nods at A blind, wretched-looking male human, 'Myself.'. Daerin s...

The trial of Cabadath.

[Three parter possibly, will post as replies to this thread.] Daerin looks at Belator Durmstrang. Aislynn dips her head respectfully at Belator Durmstrang as he enters. Hagor looks at Belator Durmstrang. A blind, wretched-looking male human wets his lips at the sound. The bailiff says 'The tribunal ...

Re: Gauntlet of Skulls

There's a safe mean to reach skullport now, albeit a bit costly, but as it'll be a high-level event, most PCs won't have trouble having the coin. I will certainly be there, just don't know yet with which character.

Re: The Starbound Wayfarers!

Little clarification! The estimated time of arrival depends directly with my kismet reserves, as i'm planning to make a new kistmet-costly character for the guild, i am around 139 kismet left to being able to create it. So i'll post more updates when i'm closer to the mark! P.S: We have a google doc...

I'll have to agree! Loving everything about it so far, hoping the consequences can be felt after the trial even, for all sides involved ;P

Re: A sad message for everyone...

Gesine was the first PC teacher for me, also one of the first players to interact with me when i started playing, and she was just great at it, patiently smithing the noob out of me, we didn't play that much simultaenously, but when we did, it was always pleasant, we'll all miss and cherish her, i h...

Bumping this thread again because we had a majorly positive reaction to the possiblity of having this feature up in the game, when discussed on discord, giving the aforementioned abilities to people that want to give fake names and not get instantly recognized as a fake name, due to being unable to ...

Re: Damaging and repairing - Abuse?

If there is general agreement that "no play no good" and that "You should put in the time", there should be, if not coded, a middle ground, where you shouldn't damage-repair all the time, but also shouldn't be forced to forfeit your PC for long periods of time to manage a skill advance, so i would r...

Re: Damaging and repairing - Abuse?

Maybe balance the xp gained by repairing to avoid the huge discrepancy between a year and a week? But still, do we want to spend double the time one spends on becoming a paladin on GM'ing a skill? I'd be more in favor of having the necessary time spent to something around 4-6 months in full time off...

Re: Damaging and repairing - Abuse?

I'm really in favor of it because it allows you to train the skill, *and* RP with your PC, instead of having to leave him at the forge for IRL weeks/months to get a smithing skill to a certain level, thus killing his interaction with current events/other PCs

Damaging and repairing - Abuse?

I've discussed with some others and there has been mixed reactions towards practicing weapon/armoursmithing with the mechanic that allows one to damage an item and repair it with an ingot, thus yielding skill advance, how do you guys feel about it?

Re: The Elminster Open

It's not about being legal/illegal, it's more about fairplay, admitting i didn't know and accepting the win does no good for the others that might fall prey to that, since it's outright broken
