I feel like the "group" function serves this purpose well enough. Beyond that would severely unhinge one of the only checks to spells of this category, some of which are already much more powerful than their tabletop versions due to that very mechanic, e.g., Wail / SoV.

Just to clarify, immunity/damage resistance are not save mechanics. Whether elemental resistance spells grant damage resistance or increased saves is probably worth discussing somewhere else.

Languages are not limited by anything in 3.5E D&D, class or otherwise, except for barbarians and INT-enforced illiteracy/knowledge caps. Some races get bonus languages that do not count against their total number allowed through their INT (i.e., almost all races get common + their racial language).

I don't see any need to change disarm as it stands; at best disarm gains you a 1-round advantage and at worst, loses you one for the risk. Personally, I think quickdraw should be fixed before any balance tuning is required on disarm.

Exposure to magic is my usual riff. I mean, even the most mundane characters (fighters, rogues) literally cloak themselves in magic 24/7. Surely there's some weird radiation blowing off all those enchantments.
