The ability to block threads:

Post by Selveem » Tue Dec 04, 2012 11:40 pm

I was just wondering what the feasibility would be for blocking a thread similar to the "foes" list for blocking posts by individual users?

There are sometimes threads that pop up that I simply have no interest in seeing and was wondering if this happens to others. Though, I'm not asking anyone to voice what those threads are as I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Instead, as an example, let's say I don't like reading the "Funniest Moments" thread because I lack a sense of humor, but it pops up repeatedly in my unread list because there happens to be high activity in the thread. Sure, I can click on it every day but in the end why can't it be made easier?

Again, this' just an example. I have a few posts in the funniest moments thread, too. :D

This' been something that's been annoying me for quite some time:

When I go to respond to a thread, I see right below "Forgotten Kingdoms Forums" the following:
Board index < Use In-Game Forum commands to activate your forum account
Why? When I go into the game and type "forum activate Selveem" I get this:
<100%hp 0m 100%mv> forum activate selveem
The forum profile named 'selveem' was already active?
Additionally, clicking on the link for "Use In-Game Forum commands to activate your forum account" is a waste of time and just leads you back to the board index which states at the very bottom, between "World" topic and the "Jump to" dropdown:
You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum.
Which, is humorous because I already am up in them threads (that's how I'm posting here!).

Just out of curiosity, why was the above post moved into a completely unrelated thread (this one)?

If you want to post about your personal annoyances, it seems good to keep them together in an Anthony-specific thread!
