Removal of the Drow language?

I just noticed that the Drow language is now gone, seemingly replaced by Darkspeak. Perhaps a better term for it would be Undercommon, if it's representing the common language of the Underdark now. I had always assumed Darkspeak to be a sort of infernal or abyssal language, very different from the Elven-derived Drow tongue. May I ask however, why the language was removed altogether from the languages? It only affects RP, and even then not much, but I was just wondering.

In general, this board does have a search function which works quite well, and a minute or two searching through previous posts will answer a surprisingly high proportion of questions.
