Just something I thought of recently that might be useful and add another route for alchemists to get containers.
It would be able to use any metal already useable with the precision forge so you would be able have a little flavor in the potion vials you are able to mould.
And the alchemist walking around with solid platinum potion vials would look like a baws, but I expect they would be mostly silver (I had tons of the stuff on my miner).

Rather it use metals that do not already have easy-to-access uses, though I would understand the hesitation some might have drinking from lead bottles, hehe. But, open up the opportunities for all metals to eventually have a use.
Hurts me when I hear some up and coming miner/smelter talk about "useless" metals. No metal should be seen as useless, ever!

Re: [ITEM] a tiny vial mold
I was originally thinking about it being able to use any metals that are currently not used with any of the molds, but I figured it would be easier to code if it worked off those already accepted. I do agree it would be nice for it to work off of lead or copper as well though - they seem to be the usual metals that are complained about being useless.
Sand + Precision forge + Mold = glass vials, would be cool too, but that would probably be going overboard with it.

This would be cool to see. Glass vials are everywhere, but metal vials are few and far between. This would be a great addition to the forge.

I could see an entirely new contraption being made for this. Perhaps someone should find Kaden Icly and have a little chat with him! Would be a very cool thing to have a joint venture into making! Just a thought

Yeah... perhaps something portable that works off of a campfire, so the alchemist can brew and press vials in the same location.Algon wrote:I could see an entirely new contraption being made for this. A portable vial press sits here.
