Friends: upon my arrival from my last tour in Afghanistan I notified the game's admins that I would be resigning sometime around the new year. Despite a lot of serious desires to remain here as a player and a staff member, I need to finally pull the trigger on that decision now.

I am an expectant father and busily pursuing a major career change whilst maintaining my still demanding professional obligations. Those things keep me very busy and I would like to think that I have done a halfway decent job of still carving out time to put in some work here, but it's been to the detriment of my relatively new relationship with Jesus and that needs to take precedence in my life.

Thanks for many years of fun role-playing and interaction. I've made a few good friends here and I am certainly writing y'all off despite writing FK off. On the other hand, I was for a long time a pretty selfish and arrogant person (and probably still am those things sometimes despite my best efforts!), and so I apologize to anyone here whom I have offended over my years playing. I wish you each great fun in the future and best wishes. Thanks.

Friends: I have really enjoyed my three months away from Forgotten Kingdoms and I have made a lot of progress personally and professionally. That being said, after some prayerful consideration, I feel as if I can contribute in some limited ways here and will attempt to define clearly my contributions with the game's staff. My priorities remain (as any good Torman) faith, family, masters, and the good of all Faerun. So I will try to contribute to that fourth one, but not at the expense of the first three!

Thanks to all of you who sent well wishes. They didn't go unread, but I really was trying to distance myself and therefore did not reply. I will go ahead and follow up in the next few days.
