Fist = bludgeoning

Post by Yemin » Mon Feb 09, 2015 3:00 am

Could natural attack = your fist be made to bypass skeleton's damage reduction? since on table it is classed as bludgeoning

http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Unarmed_Strike

including punch and kick skills too if their not already
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

Maybe make it a feat?
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

I don't know if punching a skeleton is the best idea... Maybe with a cestus or some other hand-to-hand weapon. (Other than the pair of gloves in Rat Hill and steel knuckles at one of the thieve's guilds, I could not locate any other hand weapon.)
Also, is it possible to enchant one's own fists? Ilmater's fists are kneen, vorpal weapons and I find that really cool. http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Ilmater (Look at the "abilities" section)

Let's not give out IC information as to where to get things, please! Thanks!

You can't normally enhance your own fists in dnd sadly.
You could wear some knuckle dusters or spiked gauntlets and enhance those though.

Sorry about that.

In straight SRD rules, unless you have Improved Unarmed Strike, you can't hurt a skeleton. Because fists deal nonlethal damage, and undead are immune to nonlethal damage. So, unless you're wearing gauntlets, it wouldn't work. But that's a tough thing to work out in a MUD
