So, I've discovered some stuff regarding my report about the hand-crossbows.
It seems practically the items are clones of each other, the only different thing is the size.
The hand crossbow of small size can be held in one hand, like a true hand crossbow, but has a malus of -2 even when used as a club, probably because of the fact that it is of unusual size.
The hand crossbow of medium size, on the other hand, has no malus, but must be held in two hands.
I discovered this after resizing the first one.
So basically the hand crossbow should simply be implemented... that's it.
Here is the srd of the hand crossbow: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Hand_Crossbow
(Even the small version with malus has still a higher damage dice, 1d6, than the legit medium sized hand crossbow, 1d4)
Hand crossbows, update
Re: Hand crossbows, update
Moved to Game Suggestions forum.
The old objects described as hand crossbows don't jibe with current weapon types (all size large) and the recommendation is to add a new exotic weapon type: hand crossbow.

Re: Hand crossbows, update
If Hand Crossbows are made an Exotic Weapon, will Drow naturally have proficiency with them the way they do in 3.5e D&D? Because, otherwise, I don't see them being used at all.
This is the kind of thing that makes the Gods think we're fools.
