Simple suggestion, limit the number of times you can train a skill, learn a new spell, or learn a language or feat per day from NPCs or other PCs to n+(int bonus/penalty), minimum 1 per IC day.
It's a little unrealistic that one can cruise through a temple or school or guild, get every attainable skill or lesson from all the NPCs in a few minutes, then not need to return there again for good.

I cannot begin to describe just how opposed I am to this idea.
It's also unrealistic for you to go from Waterdeep to Daggerford in one day by foot, much less in less than an hour. But we don't make people wait that long, because that's an unreasonable amount of time.

Re: Daily training limits [INT]
Higher level skills taught by pc's are usually doled out in proper lessons that encourage rp, certain skills are the end results of long quests with npc's or long narrative rp's with them and take xp that must be gathered regularly. I think that is enough, we can't put a crimp in training like this and expect to stay a viable game. Unless a builder chooses to put it in their area (And some areas do have this) I'd leave things be.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

hm, Gwain's reply sells me. This is just an issue involving lower level PCs then. Cool, thanks for the replies
