I have only an aasimar with the wings feat, so I am but guessing that the below is also true for tieflings's bat wings.
It wasn't obvious to me until I took the feat that the wings don't allow speed soar. I'd still have taken the feat regardless, but perhaps we could add a note to these helpfiles? FE:
*These wings do not allow a PC to move at speed soar, only speed fly.
Thanks!

Also need be said that they don't allow you to move without the stamina drain of spell flight.
After the fact it should be obvious but I originally thought you could use them in stead of spell or mount.
Don't know how often people have that thought but yeah.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

I don't understand what you mean. Using wings should cause a stamina drain, so it seems to me that it works as it should. (I can't check that I'm understanding what you mean properly as none of mine have wings).

Spells like fly and air walk lower the stamina needed to move from room to room, in addition to increasing your speed. I think Yemin was noting that the aasimar/tiefling wings don't grant this decrease to stamina drain as a spell might?
I haven't noticed this myself yet, but I'm still super low level on that char so pretty much everything drains his stamina quickly, anyway.

Dolifer phrased what I meant better.
It was a bad assumption for me to make at the time but I still made it and was wondering if others generally fall into that trap or if it was just me.

I actually had thought much the same, though like I said, I probably wouldn't have noticed it myself for a while. Good to know!

While he's correct that flying with wings does take more stamina than flying with spell, you still get a considerable terrain advantage in general as far as I could ever tell. It's less stamina to fly with wings over mountains than to walk over them, for example.

Confirmed it is less stamina to fly over mountains.
Just wondering If a note to help avoid my original misassumption ontop of Dolifer's original would be worth it.
