Traps outside Mithril Hall

Post by Drogardt » Fri Oct 02, 2015 12:27 am

I believe this has been brought up before, but there are two traps (as far as i'm aware) outside of Mithril Hall, that may need looking at.

Level 25... and just doing a quest where I have to look around for some stuff...

Old mining tunnel

The walls here are made of superior masonry. The most obvious feature
in the room is a hole, but ash is also
noticable upon further inspection.

...Everything begins to fade to black.

You feel yourself leaving your body... rising up into the air, you feel
more free than you have ever felt before...

However, before your deity comes to collect your soul, you feel a strange
pulling sensation as strange and colorful mists swirl around you...

You spring an average acid trap.
An average acid trap's hit nearly removes your head.

Realms of the dead
You see no way out.
You must stay here to determine your fate. Your mortal body lies
upon Faerun, slowly rotting away. You float around here in a spirit
like state awaiting to see what the gods determination of your fate
will be.

I enjoy the element of surprise as much as the next person, and this probably was just a fluke by hitting me in the head. Has anyone else experienced this?

This has happened to me before, though only twice, in different areas.

It's pretty much just really bad luck when it crits your head.
