Strange Behavior from Traps and Detrap?

Post by Areia » Fri May 06, 2016 9:56 pm

So... I'm going on about four hours of sleep in the last three days. I could very well be and probably am missing something painfully obvious, but I think there might be some problem here?

A minor electrical trap's hit brutally pulverizes your chest.
In both of these cases (and others not posted here) my PC successfully found a trap. On attempting to disarm the trap I found that there was actually, according to the game, no trap there. But upon taking the action that triggers the trap... The trap shows up again and attempts to hit me.

Anyone else having this sort of issue? It's been a while since I've really played the thief, but I don't remember ever seeing this sort of thing happen. It'd just be search <direction>, detrap <direction>, and be on your way.

Upon spotting the trap, you have to then detrap it. I have problems spotting the trap, and if you don't beforehand, you can't utilize detrap.
