Is there any possible way we could get the alley between the stables and the inn itself to have the ladder that's mentioned in the desc to function?
Currently you need to fly to go either up or down which defeats the purpose of putting a mount up there.

I think there is some sort of 'climb' or 'climbup' command to use it, but I agree that one should just be able to use 'up'.

Can confirm, command is 'ladder'.

is the roof there at the inn accessible from the sky? I don't recall ever seeing the option to land there when approaching waterdeep from the sky

Not that I remember. Only from the back of the inn.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!
