Book binding.

Post by Telk » Tue Sep 28, 2004 5:15 am

I don't know if this idea has been proposed yet or not, so here goes. What about a skill where if a PC has parchment and some other material (maybe a new item implemented for this skill). They could bind a a book. I think this would be useful if a bard or Oghman has many notes or poems they can make them all into one book for more organized use. Maybe even have the chapters inside the book able to be labeled almost like a table of contents?

Thats already implemented Email Publications email and they can set it up....As for a PC doing it I doubt they would allow that just to make sure books are not going out there that has bad Grammar or poor spelling.

I do really hope that helps

Yeah, I thought about the bad grammar thing too, I was thinking just about a unofficial way that PC's can Icly organize notes, poems, etc.

but isn't that part of roleplaying? there are spelling errors in the real world, too.. and i think a medieval fantasy setting can have them too.. and if someone wants a book full of error with his name on it to cycle the world it's his/her problem :)
