Can swords fit inside packs?

Is it allowable to put a (sheathed) sword inside a pack of some kind, or do such items have to be kept in inventory if there is no room in one's scabbards/loops? If so, is the sword considered to be bulging out the corners of the pack (which it might well be longer/taller than), or would it be considered to be strapped to the outside of the pack?

Well actully, it truely depends on the size...usally a sword would be rested in a scabbard on a belt around the wasit..though depending on how you wish to rp your charater you are able to roleplay them straping\tieing the sword to the pack with a peice of string. Hope that helped a little...remeber you can be creative in your rp's just make sure that they make sense...

i always just RP strapping it to the back of my pack.. thats pretty believable

We suspend reality on a few things around here, like let's say...hmmmm, oh, off the top of my head.....magic. Putting a sword in a scabbard and then putting the scabbard in a pack, while not always possible in real life, is allowed on FK. Putting a battleaxe in a spellpouch? Ummm, let me think, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, no.
