I had this idea for a spell. "Resonance" would be a spell similar to continual light, though mainly for RP reasons. Not sure if it's codeable or not, but I think it would be neat. It would add the "humming" flag to the object it is cast upon.
Thoughts? I know other stuff would be better to be coded, but you know . . . just to kick the idea out there.
Resonance
I can see it already. Evil mages ripping off poor innocent younguns by selling them clothing that is both glowing and humming. But it looks and sounds so -magical- (and cool)!
On a side note, I think that all the people out there who have all clothes glowing should be bug attractants +10.
And if implemented, the humming people should get similar bug/predator benefits (broadcasting your location, anyone?).

I am sure that the characters would get very annoying with the humming constantly and would probably have a hard time sleeping...Sorry, I'm not sure if I agree with this, just my opinion.
Your punch viciously hammers a shark's abdomen.
A shark is stunned, but will probably recover.

I'm not sure if an item should 'jibber', as that sounds almost as if it is talking, and a sparking(scintillating) object might be a fire hazard...but I do not know how codable these limits/affects on affecting spells are, or whether they would be used enough to deserve the time for coding (though I can see a gnome illusionist handing an unsuspecting someone a sparking object)
