What is called greaves in the game should actually be considered a greave and cuisse combo, since there are not two wear locations for legs.

Alright, then I stand corrected. Centaurs wouldn't be able to wear them unless specially made.

How about quest rewards? I know somewhere size was discussed, I think that with the upshot being that they should be sized to the person given, but would that apply for people with completely different leg structures like Centaurs and Wemics as well as those gnomes and halflings who just have short legs?

Don't forget that animal limbs are in essence quite different than human limbs. Most cats and horses are standing on their tiptoes and the majority of their lower leg is actually their foot. Maybe there's something like leg barding that can be worn, I am unsure.
