Play dead
Play dead
Hey, I had another idea for a skill, called play dead. It would make your character appear stunned to a casual glance as someone enters the room, and badly hurt in some way when they actually look at you. You might need an item in your inventory... kind of like the poison weapon skill, or spell components, etc. The item would be something along the lines of blood-red makeup, or a dagger with the end cut off (sorta like a halloween party gag). Just wondering what everyone thinks.
You don't need a skill to do that! :D
With good rp, if you just set your pose, then it should appear so, IE:
Mele is lying here stunned!
Mele is here, seemingly badly injured.
Mele is here looking somewhat unconscious.
(We all know I'm sooper Mele, and being injured is just not possible! But still. ;) )
Etc.
You shouldn't really use the VT to see if someone's injured as is. :) I mean, I try to be very careful about noticing injuries. You can't see bruising though clothing, etc, usually if someone's at like and 8 or 9 on VT, then it's usually bruises, etc. Of course 0 and such it's bloody icky ookie. And you can tell:) But for rp measures, seeing a '0' on VT shouldn't be necessary to believe someone is badly injured. :D
