$W as target

Post by Kregor » Tue Aug 02, 2005 4:14 pm

I wanted to make sure I clarified the usage of the $W target. This targets the leader of a group, according to builder's lessons. So... If I want to make sure a mob says something only once in a greet_prog when a group enters the room (and more than one of the group may have the conditions needed to trigger the greet.), then I would use "if quest($W)". Using "if quest($n)" would cause the mob to speak to each and every char that meets the criteria of the check, correct?

Also, to make sure I understand the table, in the case of $W, the uppercase is used in checks and targets, rather than the lowercase used for all the other targets?
