Casting Times: PC vs. Mob
Something that I just noticed... it seems that mobs are unaffected by casting times for spells. Nor is casting interrupted when they are hit.
Now it might be that I don't have enough experience dealing with spell casting mobs, but I think it's a bit odd that a mob can toss off several different spells each round with a 100% success rate while being repeatedly struck in melee combat.
Helm keep thee.
Have noticed the same thing myself. I have always just assumed that a MOB never fails, for it always seems they donot. If they have been made this way though, I can understand why, as there is no intelligence behind them, they need to be given a little extra oomph.
Though to me it always seems that MOB's spells do maximum damage, which I do not like as much as no spell failure.
Since it seems alot of MOBS have been beefed up a little (specially in resistances) would it be fairer to make them fail more often? or perhaps make their spell selection a little wider?
