I have a question and a small problem. My question is this, When I first obtained the spell the elemental that was created was permenant like a pet. Has this now been changed?
My problem is this.. Once I conjure an elemental I cannot seem to order it to do as I wish. It continues to tell me "do it yourself!" and cannot seem to get my air elemental to fly or to follow me. A bit of help please?
Conjure Elemental
This was covered on the old boards. The relevant answer is:
Conjure elemental works like monster summon now. It is a spell that summons an ally to help you in battle before it goes back to its own plane or dies.
Companion, is a skill ... that summons a creature to your side that STAYS.

It currently appears to work in that a conjured elemental will automatically follow you if it can see you, and if you are currently fighting will aid in the fight. They do not appear to assist in subsequent fights. I will check how it is supposed to work, and get back to you.
