Bad role play or player's choice?

I've been in the market square ( not on Bragbub of course ) more than usual lately and I've been noticing some odd, and probably inappropriate role play. I won't name names but I've heard things like "My bad" come from elves, talk of "chimichangas and tacos" and various other things. Now my question is, are we allowed as players to ask said individuals to consider their role play more carefully?, should we tell admins about this?, or are these types of ordeals "role play" choices?

Hay this elven roleplay, will it be open to all elves or will the fellowship of evil elves be discouraged from comeing?

I was thinking this would be a good family reunion where those evil elves would have a chance to prove that they have a good reason for being evil, as all evil elves should. I mean not nearly enough people know the wrath of Kirkus. Just kidding, so are we welcome or not?

I have to object to your objection to 'my bad'. I have used the expression 'my bad' on this character (who is from a part of Faerun not coded on this game). When questioned ICly, I explained it was an expression we used in slave pits in the east, essentially a shortened form of 'Apologies, that was my bad judgement' (or in more polite society it would be 'I beg your pardon but that was an example of my terribly bad judgement').

People reacted similarly to my character once saying 'wannabe.' I then clarified by saying 'sorry, I tend to slur my speach, I mean 'want to be'

I have seen this happening quite frequently lately. If there is a IC reasons like the ones stated above I do not mind at all. But with some I have noticed that they merely throw modern phrases around and most likely have no IC reason for using some phrases that are probably foreign to most parts of Faerun, if such happens should they be notified OOC to try to steer away from these kinds of phrases? I do not mean to flame or insult anyone by posting this and I hope it did not come off as such.
