I have memorized a bunch of spells with different metaphysical feats. It is almost impossible to tell the difference between which spells have which M feats.
Could there be some sort of indicator on your memorization list which tells you which feats you have on which spells?

Erm... they are metamagic feats, not metaphysical. But, anyway ...
The code does not differenciate between a 'cure light' that is memorized with silent (+1 level) + still (+1 level) or a 'cure light' that is memorized with empower (+2 levels). In both case, that's a 'cure light' stored in a 3rd level spell slot.
When you try and cast with metamagic feats set, the code looks for the first spell that meets the requirements: (a) ready to cast and (b) occupying a spell slot of a high enough level.
The metamagic feats used when memorizing a spell are not stored anywhere though.
