Exchange

I wanted to suggest a new command called exchange that could be used at any shop mob, that would allow players to consolidate or break up coinage. For example: exchange '5 gold' platinum would turn 5 gold coins from the player's inventory into one platinum coin. And the converse would work as well: exchange '3 platinum' gold would turn three platinum coins from the player's inventory into fifteen platinum coins. And the most useful option, as I see it, for this command would be: exchange all, which would exchange all of the coins in the inventory for their most valuable equivalents. And, exchange all <coin type> would exchange all coins in the inventory for the specified type of coin, and any remainder for the most valuable equivalents.

I cooked this idea up when I needed to give a mob coins, and I had enough money overall, but not all in one coin type. Thoughts?

I thinks that's a great idea! My only suggestion would be that it only be doable in a bank. Just makes more sense to me. Would allow for exchange of coin without any loss of coin to the banker. That way depositing would still cost a little, but exchanging wouldn't, kind of like a change machine at a pizza place, you don't lose any money you just change what form it is in. Awsome idea though.

I would LOVE to be able to do this... but I think this would get a bit out of hand...



Edit: forgot to add in that I would like this to exchange my 700 copper coins into something usefull... and less weight consuming

I could have sworn this has been suggested before...and I looked, but I just couldnt find anything.

I do this all the time, but the only way right now you can do it is by depositing all, and then withdrawing in the coins you like. That takes away a banker's cut every time you do.
