How does Skill focus affect training?

I'm wondering- does Skill Focus affect a skill's base training %? Say for example there's an NPC that can train Mount up to Journeyman, but I get Skill Focus: Mount when I'm an apprentice. Can I only train up to journeyman still, or can I train until the BASE mount ability is at journeyman, plus the bonus for the skill focus?

Well the helpfile states... and i can't copy and paste so yeah...

"... With this feat it improves the skill for you reguardless of how high the trainer can train it...." blah, blah, blah then "... This allows you to become a grandmaster at a skill by using all 5 skill focus feats on the same skill if you so wish"

so

you can become a grandmaster... but train up all the way BEFORE you use the feat so you don't throw feat points away... unless that is your forté
