Halflings and slings

Has anyone thought of when you start out to be a halfling (it doesnt really matter what class you are)that you get a sling that would be the best thing for halflings or if you dont get a sling atleast you know the weapon skill

It really isn`t all that hard or expensive to get a sling, if you know where to look, and I think it would be a waste of time for the coders to implement something like this when there is so much else they could be doing that would benefit many people rather than just new halfling characters. Why a Halfling would start out with one, I`m not sure. I think that even though halfling children are skilled marksmen with thrown objects and slings (presumably from the games they play.... ooh, what a cute picture, halfling children

) that doesn't necessarily mean they would always have a sling handy.

As for beginning with the weapon skill, that is already part of the game and has been for as long as I`ve been playing here.
