Fellowship of the Forgotten Flower

Post by Penryn » Mon Oct 06, 2003 9:12 pm

I do not know if this is the right board of not for this, if it isnt please tell me where and shall move it on over... and please accept my apologies

I was curious if perhaps the Fellowship of the Forgotten Flower could be opened up to allow rangers, fighters, clerics of the elven pantheon a chance to serve as well as paladins of the elves. Since paladins are so rare specially among the elven people.

Perhaps it could as well make the org become somewhat more active.. .since there seems to be alot of elves about specially of late from what I am told and no real orgs besides this one out there for them perhaps they could somewhat make it their own :)

just my two thoughts...

The Fellowship is a paladin order. Look at the other paladin-accepting gods. As far as I know, each god who can accept paladins has those orders - and when a paladin acheives their paladin status, they become a member of these orders, as part of their paladinship.

Look up Corellon's help file then the Fellowship of the Forgotten Flower file and it says "Members are mainly elven warriors or elven paladins. I don't think this means that you have to be a paladin to join the organization.

Very True upon both points by the posts. I just was curious if perhaps could open it a bit further even for rangers and clerics as well and let all of the elvenfolk enter the fun for the org and instill more into them.

Perhaps could round out the org even more

By opening the order even more, wouldn't that make the order less special? That's just how I'm seeing it. :)

I would think that any organization outside joining the ones for your class, would take RP to get into... I noticed you quoted "MAINLY paladins and clerics" This means that those that are worthy may also be asked to join... you have to EARN the right to be a part of something.... this means ROLEPLAYING!!!! I think one would have to ask people who are part of the organization what it's all about, then I'm sure Corellon would have some input himself.... are these individuals worthy of this honor... maybe one of the high members of the organization let in someone they shouldn't.... so many possibilities for so many people to be a part of.... even if they aren't elven... and I'm also reminded of the elven lass who worked herself hard to become a bard... ANYTHING is possible.. use your imagination, that's what RP is all about.... 8)
