Motivational Posters

Post by Harroghty » Fri Aug 04, 2006 9:37 pm

Some of you may have seen (or actually own) one of these motivational posters. You know the ones; they have a picture of a track and some sprinters with something like "Dedication" and a blurb beneath it. Well here are some gaming inspired ones. Enjoy!

Hehe... wonderful link!

My two favourites are

http://www.llbbl.com/data/RPG-motivational/AngrryGM.jpg (too bad for the typo though)

and

http://www.llbbl.com/data/RPG-motivational/IntDump.jpg.

But many others are very good!

Thanks for sharing.

Wow...this brings back memories of Tintin comics...Herge was awesome

This is awesome, especially for an LOTR hardcore like myself, especially given that I've read http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/b/balrogs.html which deals extensively with the balrog wings concept. Too bad about the profanity, but still v. funny.

Of course he was... it all has to do with nationality, you know. ;)

It looks like direct links to the pictures do not work, unfortunately. Though... it's easy enough to find them by just looking at their names.

In keeping with my habit of pointing out things that poke fun of our dedication to computers, basements and gaming... BUT, remembering the family orientation of this game (and thus forum) I will merely suggest that anyone of age (and who is not easily offended) track down Stephen Lynch's song entitled D&D. You can find a version on http://www.youtube.com

bewbs... it's true... and works for Clerics too!
Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness, and truth presupposes error. It is these opposites which people our life, which make it pungent, intoxicating. We exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash.
