Post by Dalvyn » Sat Nov 04, 2006 4:52 pm

We are currently working on a new options for spending glory points. Consider this as a notice, so that you can hold off on spending your glory points if you want to benefit from those new options.

Are those real hints, because Blackstaff is the High Mage of Waterdeep, whereas Arumdia is the battleaxe Garl wears, and as far as Glamdring, I have no idea what that is. Does that mean that there is going to be a way to get some intelligent weapon in game?

Glamdring was a sword in LotR...

It was also a weapon that was feared by the Orcs

The hints mean that for enough glory we can all be chosen of Mystra dual wielding legendary weapons.

Let's all be patient. =)

Or it could mean that orcs are royally.. well, that orcs are in trouble.

uh lets not be so hasty... Blackstaff also refers to the staff not just the man.

*snapping fingers* I should have used something harder, from the start... perhaps like...

And then he stares at his battleaxe, shouting "Arumdina, Twinkle and Sting Blackstaff!"

Obviously weapon names. I love me some weapon names... Should I have not given away, or am I wrong?

The Sting Blackstaff part hints at a mutation of two lengendary weapons into one, uber gigantic, ultra powerful, multi-shafted combination weapon of doom.
Chars: Aryvael et all.

I have no idea what you're talking about, and am offended by the implication.

Obviously its a staff with a small dagger hastily tied to the end with cheap twine. But the dagger does glow in the presence of goblinoids. So as long as you got enough twine to keep the dagger in place your set.
