throwing spears

It would be cool if we could throw spears. Is that possible?

As far as I know any weapon can be thrown with the throw command

combat +ranged just makes it so that if you're using a ranged weapon in battle, it will use it as a blunt weapon, or w/e it happens to be. Unless I am remember incorrectly, that is how I read it.

Nah, its the other way around. You'll continue to use a ranged weapon in melee combat..

I just tried to throw a spear using the combat +ranged command, then typing throw spear ghoul, but it didn't work. I also tried to just attack, but that didn't work either.

With throw, you dont type "throw spear goul" I believe throw ghoul works.

I know with ranged you type: Throw N Lizard. and that will throw your weapon north - should you have the ranged wepaons skill trained.
