[Trade] Adding color to weapons/armor/jewelery

Why not allow crafters to add paint/blackening weapons/armour and some such into metals woods and the like?
You ask 'What is a tri-force?'
Spaki says 'But vessels for godly energies would be hard to come by. Let alone tri-forces.'
Spaki says to you 'Just a word I heard from a fellow with a green tunic.'

The option to dye cloth, enamel armour etc etc - in effect, to change the colour codes of items - has been discussed several times in the past.

Please revive or refer to these previous threads if you can rather than starting a new one.

As far as I am aware, allowing a specific colour code to be chosen when crafting would require hard code changes but feel free to discuss the subject.
