[config] drawboth
[config] drawboth
With many weapons haveing the option of being wielded in one or two hands, having the option to auto draw to one hand or to both would be a boon.
I think this would be nice to have in game. Not entirely needed, but an improvement on what is there.

So, we lost the ability of quick draw. And the echo of drawing to get something like:
Cret gets a smithing hammer from a belt.
Cret wields a smithing hammer in both hands.
as opposed to:
Cret draws a smithing hammer.
If that is the case.. why have sheaths at all? Why not just create alias for a backpack
alias draw get uberswordofdoom backpack& wield uberswordofdoom
While not needed, this skill would help. Sorta like the autoloot config. How do you Rp automaticly taking everything from a corpse instantly after you kill it. Oh sure you can turn it off (wich i do), but you could create an alias for that as well. You could create an alias for that as well. Or the autogold that splits coins automaticaly.

Because it's considered an abuse of the code to take a weapon from a container that is not ICly either a sheath, or another form of weapon container (baldric, loop, harness, etc) in the middle of combat or to initiate a pkill attack. Seems like a good enough reason to still use sheaths, quivers, et all and yet use an alias.Cret wrote:If that is the case.. why have sheaths at all? Why not just create alias for a backpack

Frankly, if you have more than one sheath, even and if you only want to draw one for one hand, the code often confuses which one you want to draw, so I end up almost always using an alias for drawing one-handed anyway.
