Re-describing Waterdeep
I would like to issue a call to all soft and hard builders who would be interested in rewriting the (currently rather plain) room descriptions of Waterdeep.
The idea is that the new descriptions would be written directly online, on the test port. There would be a few sessions of 2 or 3 hours now and then where you could log on the test port and work on the descriptions.
If you are interested in helping with this project, please post below. Thanks.

If you want a head start, feel free to start writing description in a text file. That will allow you to simply copy/paste them into the game once we start.
If you start working on a particular street (I'm fine with several rooms having exactly the same description, e.g., the rooms corresponding to the same "street") or a specific shop/building, please post below, so the same rooms do get described twice.

I'll be unable to attend the session tomorrow, sorry, I have to leave for something that starts at exactly the mentioned time.
Weit in der Champagne im Mittsommergrün,
dort, wo zwischen Grabkreuzen Mohnblumen blühn,
da flüstern die Gräser und wiegen sich leicht
im Wind, der sanft über das Gräberfeld streicht.

Thanks for the tip-- I tried to connect, and got in, but it didn't recognize my account name for the 4000 port. I recreated it, but got the same list of options as one gets for regular FK, and I'm not sure where to go from there-- should I make a character through which to do whatever it is we do on the testport?
Dear Enemy: May the Lord hate you and all your kind, may you be turned orange in hue, and may your head fall off at an awkward moment.
Yup yup, create a new character and go from there. Use the 'chat' command to say you're here, or the question command if that doesn't work, and hopefully someone will be around to sort you out

Sorry for the long silence. I have not given up on the project
Hopefully, we can set up another session soon enough. I'm mostly waiting for the command list to be fixed so it's easier to move around. As usual, feel free to prepare descriptions in a text file, so you can simply copy/paste them into the area!
Thanks for your help!
