Your PC's Favorite Movie?
Your PC's Favorite Movie?
I was thinking about this while I read some posts about PC theme music. What would be your character's favorite movie?
Lathander could have many (he is a god, you know) so I plan to edit and add as time goes by.
Lathander's Favorite Movies:
Groundhog Day - It's ALL about second chances.
From Dusk til Dawn - Undead in it too!, I say anymore I'll spoil it.
Little Miss Sunshine - Creative, inspiring
Dead Poets Society - Seize the Morning!
Raiders of the Lost Ark - Always a new adventure
Patton - I love the smell of napalm in the morning, that's Patton right?
The Bridge on the River Kwai - Try not to whistle the song, go ahead
Ivanhoe - Nothing to do with Lathander, but who doesn't love Ivanhoe?
It's a Wonderful Life - It's ALL about second chances.

Commando! (pretty much any Ahnald movie)
"You steal my car, you rip the seat out, you kidnap me, you ask me to help you find your daughter which I very kindly do, and then you get me involved in a shoot out where people are dying and there's blood spurting all over the place, and then I watch you rip a phone booth out of a wall, swing from the ceiling like Tarzan, and then there's a cop that's going to shoot you and I save you and they start chasing me. Are you going to tell me what's going on or what?"
"No."

Listen up! People pay good money to see this movie! When they go out to a theater they want cold sodas, hot popcorn, and no monsters in the projection booth! Do I have to come up there myself? Do you think the Gremsters can stand up to the Hulkster?

What matters the most is how well you walk through the fire.
Lerytha's favourite movies
"Brokeback Mountain", "Educating Rita" and other movies dealing with either education, learning and things Oghma likes... or other movies which are probably inappropriate for someone as old as she is.
Miriel is too snobby to watch movies
Fun question, Lathander!
EDIT: Incidentally, I hereby claim "Dead Poets Society" as one of the staple films of Oghmans. Lathander will have to share it.

Frankkin- Fried Green Tomatoes, Home Fries, Kentucky Fried Movie, Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes!, The Apple Dumpling Gang! The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again!!!!... and.. for obvious reasons...
RESURRECTION...for those of you who don't know, it's a movie made in 1980 with Ellen Burstyn in it and it's a powerful movie about healing. I highly recommend it. Rent it if you can find it.. or get Blockbuster Total Access or Netflix
