What matters the most is how well you walk through the fire.

I'm running Vista on my laptop too.
Try this, when you go to open the .exe, right click, and choose "Run as Administrator"

This is not a bug. Shield dwarves are actually made of mithril.

Weird, it works just fine on my Vista. I *do* have Vista Business ed. tho. Think that has something to do with it?

So, ah... I have CMud and I can't figure out how to keep long post attempts on my part from messing up my VT100-- the text box jumps up a line if I run out of space, and when it goes back down my health bar is missing and my window is in disarray... and I can't ferret out the option to keep that from happening, if there is one... so any suggestions to remedy my selective ineptitude would be most appreciated. :->

This can be a problem in some versions of zmud as well. Under View -> Preferences -> General -> Command Line there is a setting called Wordwrap Command Line. Uncheck that. Your command line should now scroll as you type instead of adding new lines. This exact setting might or might not exist in cmud, but at the very least something similar probably does.Amalia wrote:So, ah... I am having trouble with the fact that the history of my commands is taking up over half my screen...So I am only getting a very limited play space. Is there any way to fix this?
