Player Fiction

I was wondering, if we could add a section onto the forums for a place where players could possible put up player fiction, which would be stories about their characters in a OOC sense. The reason I was wondering this, was because I wanted to put out stories about my character, but I didn't want it to be IC knowledge just from reading it while at the same time other players could enjoy a good story!

I'm not opposed to having player fiction in the forums for view, but I wonder if it is necessary to have another forum for this. The Kingdoms Journal forum takes all kinds of stories and the publications email will also take them and make them available ingame.

One argument put forward would be that the stories in this forum are not exactly ic or known to everyone within the game, I still think that if they are known to everyone here they might as well be common knowledge in the game setting. If one wanted something known or some story of their character shared between a few people only, it might serve to either make a publication with limited distribution or to provide the information icly to those people only.

My main concern is that private things known to everyone do not stay private.

I am well aware that my opinion might be dated or obscure on this. It is my opinion alone and I respect all other opinions expressed here and embrace most ideas. I will gladly welcome what the majority wants but, my concerns will most likely remain.

This soulds interesting for things like player history. I hate to pontificate but Kirkus has a pretty unique story, and since he's been around for some time I would think that in game many might have heard of him, especially the elven population. A kind of elven nightmare. Hehehe.
