Blingdenstone

Post by Solaghar » Sat Mar 17, 2007 10:30 pm

Sharni once told me, long long ago, that Blingdenstone, the city of the good-aligned Svirfneblin, was actually complete apart from room descriptions. If this area still exists in a form that merely needs room descriptions added to it, I'd like to do that.

There's also another area, a ruined Drow house, that I worked on once then turned back over to its original owner when they returned to the game, which was as far as I could see, complete apart from the necessity to ensure the quests worked. I think it's the Ruins of House Oblodra, the area name might have been oblodra.are, something along those lines. I have a week off and I'd be willing to throw myself at either project and get some near-completed areas into the game.

Sorry for necro'ing this post, but it seemed silly not to since I was simply asking the same question. Like Solaghar, I recall Sharni mentioning at one time that Blingdenstone was being worked on and was "near completion", and I'm wondering if the incomplete file is out there floating around someplace.

This may not be a substantive answer, but I can let you know what I know at least.

When the administration of the Mud changed hands the information on a number of projects was lost to us. Many area files and part-completed projects were stored on Sharni's PC and were not available to Dalvyn.

Other than the areas listed under the new builder's forums, I'm not aware of any stored area files.
