Pose - Can it be expanded to have $character in it?

Post by Myn » Fri Dec 05, 2003 1:54 am

I've been meaning to ask this...
Pose is super neatoriffic, but there is one thing I wish they could do.. Be aimed.. Is it at all possible to make them like the smotes where you could do, for example

pose sitting on $rorix's lap

and then have that show the adj for those that do not know him, and then the name for those than do?

Kies, that was all :)

There is a problem I see with this. It would ahev to be coded only to take 1 person in a pose. or you could do somehting like this:

pose standing here talking with $e, $f, $c, $d, and waving a bright banner.

Cret is standing here talking with a tall, emerald eyed cow, a figment of someones imagination, a crimson skined monkey, a dainty buxom nymph, and waiving a bright banner.

This would take away the 75 charcter max for the pose. Not the color codes are also counted as a character, but not seen as on in the pose.

Linking 'pose' command with $character

It's a nice thought, particularly for those who regularly change their pose to reflect their RPing (Gratz to you all, I am often a lazy little when it comes to that level of detail).

Unfortunately, I do envisage a slight problem with this.... if the individual named in your pose leaves the room, voids from inactivity or sets a different pose.

I'm sure all of the aforementioned regular posers would be up to the minute in the information they set, but for us mere mortals it might lead to neglected poses and missing laps.

Just an interjection:

Why not put: pose is sitting in a young male human's lap

Instead of Rorix's?

In that particular, Hypotetical situation, and others, that is what I do... but I think it would be neato to be able to aim it. Plus, sometimes it takes an extra look or glance to get the adjective.
