Call for ASCII and sculptures

Post by Tandria » Mon Dec 31, 2007 5:20 am

IC: Kokoro of Sune is calling out to all painters and sculptors of the Kingdoms to submit their works for the upcoming broadening of Waterdeep's Temple of Beauty. As long as these works portray beauty, love or both, they will be accepted for display in the painting galleries and sculpture gardens.

OOC: I'm getting back into building and am coming back to working on the Temple of Beauty. Paintings should be ASCII but sculptures can be descriptions or ASCII. Please make sure they fit the IC theme of what Sune's temple would show, so no sculptures of scarred up orcs, please. ;) If you want IC credit then please be sure to add your character's name so he/she can show off to his/her IC friends. I'd like to suggest to painters that they send in their works to publications as well!

The more the merrier. Please feel free to PM me or e-mail me at mira.mockingbird@gmail.com with any submissions!

Well, one could do that... expose the invisible wizards... I was also thinking about what Tandria said per the love... I heard of an elf and a centuar...

Anyway, I think I might have an ascii or two to send to you Tandria (rated E - for everyone...)

Perhaps this might be a time to send in some for other churches as well.

Here is my rendition of several invisible male and female wizards doing things that we do not allow to be portrayed on FK. Please consider it my contribution to the temple gallery. :o

I didn't know people could pose like that.

Oh wow, thanks Lath! The Sunites will be honored to have a painting by Lathander himself in the temple!! :D Stunning work, by the way. Nice attention to detail.

I'll look forward to receiving your stuff, Mouat! But yeah, that would be a no on the "fade to black" paintings. ;)

Aw, pity, the Spires of Shadows has tons of erotic frescoes upon the walls, especially in the dormitory. That means we win *giggles*

Of course, there's no ascii representations, but ah well.
Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness, and truth presupposes error. It is these opposites which people our life, which make it pungent, intoxicating. We exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash.

That's okay, Yzelle. We're still prettier! Buahahaha! :D

Just a small addendum to this.

ICly, if you don't think your character would actually be capable of producing a nice sculpture, feel free to say it was DESIGNED by your character. ;) You will still get the credit.

Just to remind everyone, I'm still looking for these! The area's ready to be written out, so after cleanup of the file, adding progs and quests, this will be all that's needed! :)
