I'd like to propose this item be added to bakeries and kitchens.
A stove would be similar to a forge, and a fire, but located in kitchens around the realms. Someone could cook food there, bake, or destroy excess flammable objects without having to entirely leave a city or use a smithy.
A stove would function similar to the forge, stationary and continuously burning, except be for cooking. ICly its hard to justify walking into a smithy and pulling out food, when there's a barrel full of toxic water right there beside it. Its not sanitary, and I can't imagine its healthy.
The IC sensible option right now is to go hunt down a piece of firewood, and run out of town to a field somewhere to cook, which is just odd. Smiths don't have to run outside town and make a bonfire when there's precision forges, forges, and anvils that tradesmen let adventurers use elsewhere. The campfire idea is great when traveling and you want to RP cooking something up on the fly, especially if you have access to the slice command, but this idea allows for a more civilized food preparation as well.
Cooking anything of substance in this game already takes a lot of asking, equipment, and collecting from all across the map to produce anything interesting. So it really wouldn't be making the system that much easier, there would simply be a place where someone could cook without having to relight their fire after every couple cooked tarts. It would also explain how all these NPC bakers are making their wonderful wares.

I'm fairly sure that there's a portable stove in that Gond area that's close to being finished *cough cough*
But a cooking stove or oven could be added to the limbo object list which would allow them to be added to any area without loss of vnums.
