Recently I stumbled across this website:
http://www.scribd.com
And when searching through it I found just about every source book or campaign guide I could ever want to read for information. There is even an option to save the upload as a pdf and then save it to your computer.
Example being:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/918861/City-o ... -Waterdeep
3rd Ed, 3.5ed, 2nd Ed.. It's all there as long as someone has uploaded it. Most are even indexed and hotlinked inside the table of contents to where you can just click on the subject and it will automatically take you to that page.
Uploaded Resources Books, Campaign Guides, etc

God dangit Isaldur - where the hell were you throughout my years of droppings hundreds maybe thousands of dollars on this crap?
Listen up! People pay good money to see this movie! When they go out to a theater they want cold sodas, hot popcorn, and no monsters in the projection booth! Do I have to come up there myself? Do you think the Gremsters can stand up to the Hulkster?
Re: Uploaded Resources Books, Campaign Guides, etc
This is not a resource for the actual books, but it is a very helpful list of what is out there from what I am beginning to refer to as "actual Forgotten Realms" (i.e. 2d Edition). What wonderful stuff! Ed Greenwood really produced an immersive, creative world.

I probably have made this sales pitch before (and I do not work for this company), but I really recommend Noble Knight games for purchasing these books. I have spent hours of my life hunched in the back of a games store looking through their books to find that last, hidden copy of Four from Cormyr or For Duty and Deity only to pay close to the original full price for a book that's ten years old, at least. I ordered three out of print Forgotten Realms books on this past Monday from this website and (with standard shipping) got them on Thursday. That is hard to beat. Especially at around eight dollars (US) a book! I cannot recommend these guys enough.
