Tildas in item descriptions

Post by Nedylene » Sat Sep 13, 2008 10:46 pm

So, will admit this was a question today that had to do with getting published and item descriptions and he had a very valid point I did not know how to answer.

A tilda is used as a full stop in items between descriptions, extra descriptions etc. When one is using ANSII art to get published and they want a full line of Tildas how do the accomplish that with them still being seen?

They can't.

You can't use tildas in descriptions or ASCII pictures or anything like that.

Now, I would guess it would take only some minor code adjustments so allow people to use something like \~ to add a tilda to a description, but I'm not sure that (a) it's worth it and (b) Mask would tae the time to add it.
