Bows & Crossbows

Posted this in the wrong part of the forum

I was wondering if the bow skill was meant to utilize strength as it is?

As per the PHB, bows should use only DEX to modify the attack roll, with no modifiers to damage. The exception to this are composite bows which still use DEX to modify attack, but also uses STR to modify damage. So theoretically, yes a bow could use STR. My GUESS is that all bows in FK (whether composite or not) are coded to work like composite bows in that DEX modifies attack and STR modifies damage. Just a guess though.

Can this be confirmed? Is dexterity used to hit, where str is used for damage? I am personally confused by the "weapons" page as all weapons say (Str, Dex). Which lead me to believe that all the weapons were coded the same.
