In line with the current wizard spell-power in which the higher level of the wizard the more powerful are their spells, the suggested thief "backstab-power" in which the higher level of the thief his skills circle stab and backstab would get a larger increase, I propose something similar;
All weapon skills of the fighter would get an increase relative to the weapon-skill in which he had a higher level, something like all your weapon skills could be as much lower as 1/2 (or any other value to determine) as the weapon skill in which you had a higher level.

Re: Fighter "Skill-at-arms"
Personally speaking, I don't agree with it.
Yeah yeah, I know what you're all thinking: OMG, Selveem AGAINST something that would make fighters a little stronger?
Psh, fighters unlike wizards and priests gotta WORK for their bread and butter.
The primary reason for my disagreement is simply because hitroll is already in the game. You already get a "to hit bonus" (for those that don't know mechanics, it means that you hit opponents easier as you level higher) for leveling up.

You do not need to change the world, merely leave it a little better than how you found it.

Re: Fighter "Skill-at-arms"
Yes, I "third" the disagreement.
Weapon skill should be improved by using weapons, not levelling. While I would certainly enjoy the extra bonus, I believe that this would -more importantly- encourage reckless levelling without attention paid to role-play or improving skills.
