Wills in FK

I was just thinking about this and I was wondering. Is there an ability to create wills in FK. Or, is that a special roleplay type thing? I know it says do not give things away to other characters before you die, but I was wondering if you applied for it, then a will couold be drafted up.Just a thought.

Hmmmm. Maybe have followers of Oghma hold the wills? An interesting idea. It would be open to abuse, but with some thought we might be able to hash something out. Thank you for the positive idea for discussion.

I would think it would be difficult to cheat the system on this one since one player can't be on at the same time with two characters, thus they could never know each other. I guess what I am getting at is that since two of your characters can never know each other it would be very ooc to leave stuff for them in your will. It would be so easy to catch someone cheating. If you did cheat it you would be practically admitting to multiplay. I think this could add some very good rp for characters that follow Oghma. They would have to take the will, hold the stuff and see that it gets to the right people. I really like this idea.

But how often does a Character truely die?

One of the things that is not really smiled upon is giving your eq away when you die/delete. It's always been stated you may not swap your eq off to anyone when you delete. :) I think giving everything away would be a problem, but, giving one or two things of importance to the character to someone very close to the character is a good idea. :)

Well, as far as how often people die...I don't know...not often. And that is what I meant Mele. Just important things like maybe leaving your wedding ring to your widow. Things like that, not a complete dump of of all your equipment.
