Feel free to slap me for being stupid if there is something about this somewhere, but someone asked me this the other day and I could not give them a fair answer. Short of a series of emails to special rp address and a wave of an imm's magic wand, is there any way for a character to change their guild? Like a mage wanting to turn invoker or a fighter wanting to turn ranger?

We strongly discourage this to prevent someone from joining one guild just to get its benefits and then swapping to another, giving that player an unfair advantage (first guild skills or spells learned) over those who chose the second guild in the first place.
